CoffeeBoxd
Your coffee life, logged.
CoffeeBoxd is a home for your coffee life.
Log the coffees you drink, remember the beans you loved, discover your taste, keep track of cafés and build a personal history of coffee over time.
The problem
You've had a thousand coffees and remember three.
The bag is finished, the café is a blur, and the roaster's name is gone. Reviews describe places. Almost nothing keeps a record of what you actually drank and whether you liked it.
The idea
Google Maps reviews the café. CoffeeBoxd remembers the coffee.
A personal log of drinks, beans, roasters and cafés that slowly turns into something more interesting than the sum of its entries: a picture of your taste.
How it works
01
Log a coffee
Drink, bean, roaster, café, a rating and a line about how it tasted. Fast enough to do at the table.
02
Build a taste profile
Origins, processes and roast styles you keep returning to, drawn from what you've actually logged.
03
Keep a coffee history
Scroll back through the year: the bags, the cafés, the one espresso you still think about.
Concept visuals
Early interface concepts. CoffeeBoxd is still in development, so these will change.

What we're exploring
- Answering questions like "do I prefer washed Ethiopian coffees?" from your own log
- Discovery that starts from your taste rather than a popularity ranking
- Making a log entry feel like a small pleasure, not data entry
